Bandpass Filter – Low Passband Variation – Low Insertion Loss

Bandpass Filter - SampleBandpass Filter – Low Passband Variation – Low Insertion Loss

Bandpass Filters are an extremely common filter found in many RF systems. These filters have become a rather powerful tool when it comes to RF Communications because of their ability to allow a range of frequencies as well as provide isolation on either side of the band of interest. Bandpass filters can also be made with varying topologies and each topology can provide different responses with respective strengths and weaknesses.

The attached plot is an example of a realizable bandpass filter here at Bree that demonstrates our ability to maintain a consistent insertion loss across a passband as well as maintain an extremely flat response leading to less than 0.25 dBc of passband variation. The isolation ranges on either side of this bandpass filter also provide for a very reliable bandpass filter due to its high isolation relative to the passband cutoff points. This is but one filter design here at Bree Engineering that we can consistently recreate and provide to our customers.

As with all of our Filters here at Bree Engineering the design is custom and tailored to the specifications of our clients. We are always striving to do our best to design, build and tune filters of any type.

Please see the attached Filter Test Data for the performance of the filter.
